UCO^®DES P

UCO^®DES P is a versatile highly active powder disinfectant with non-selective wide range of virucidal, bactericidal, fungicidal and yeasticidal efficacy.

UCO^®DES P is a potassium peroxymonosulphate based surface disinfectant with upgraded action by surfactants, organic acids and an inorganic buffer system and is generating a strong oxidizing power for fast destruction of micro-organisms, through massive disruption of membrane and cell wall rupture.

UCO^®DES P is developed for use in livestock industry: poultry, swine, cows, sheep, goats, mink, and other related industries (PT3), food contact surfaces (PT4), drinking water (PT5) and for other surfaces and equipment like greenhouses (PT2).

Prior to applying UCO^®DES P, it is recommended to clean the surfaces, equipment or vehicles properly using a detergent from the UCO^®FOAM range, as it facilitates a perfect disinfection, meeting all international standards for validation.

Surface disinfection:

• Disinfect the surfaces by applying a 0,5-1,25% solution of UCO^®DES P (200-300ml per m²).
• Do not rinse off earlier then 30 minutes post applying.

Water treatment:

• Fill the water system with 0,5-1% UCO^®DES P solution and drain after 1H-4H.
• Use a 0,065% UCO^®DES P for continuous treatment.

Wheel bath/footbath/vehicle disinfection:

• Disinfect the surfaces (boots, wheels) by applying a 1-2% solution of UCO^®DES P.
• Do not rinse off earlier then 5 minutes post applying.

Aerosol disinfection:

• Misting/aerial spray at 0,5% (20ml/m³ or 50ml/m²), cold fog at 1% (40ml/m³) or hot fogging 4% solution (10ml per m³) of UCO^®DES P.
• Repopulate the area after sufficient ventilation of the treated area, but not earlier than 30 min.
